I just downloaded SketchBook Copic Edition. AND IT’S REALLY GREAT!
The interface it’s like the other SketchBook programs but I love how the colors can be blended and treated almost like real Copic markers!, I’m exited.I’m sharing my first drawing here so it’s not so cool…but I’ll be practicing a lot with this thing.
The download it’s easy and you can find the program for free in the AppStore, here: DOWNLOADHope you guys enjoy the program as much as I did!

TUTORIAL: HOW TO SHARPEN ALL THE LAYERS AT ONCE
Make your gif, resize it, add a psd, do whatever you have to do.
Now select all the layers and click the little icon on the right of the animation toolbar.
MAKE SURE ALL THE LAYERS ARE SELECTED!
Now go to Filter > Convert for smart filters. Then click on Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen.
Voilà! Now you only have to save your gif as you usually do :)
Ray Frenden reviews the too-cheap-to-be-true Monoprice graphics tablets. How do they stack up to industry standard Wacoms?
After spending a week with the 6.25“x10” Monoprice, my Yiynova and Cintiq remain unplugged and I gave my Intuos away to a friend. The Monoprice tracks subtle pressure variances and small movements with less lag and more crisp fidelity than any of the others. It is, put crudely, fucking awesome, in both OSX Lion and Windows 7 x64.
Hey guys, if any of you want a cheap alternative to the Wacom brand, this is the perfect kind! Read his review and see for yourself- $80 for a 9x12 etc. Check it out :)
I get a lot of emails from illustration students and young cartoonists. Sometimes they ask to interview me for a class assignment, sometimes they’re recent graduates looking for advice on how to transition from art student to professional illustrator/cartoonist. I get emails asking about how I…
Welcome to G.N.O., the first part of my K-Pop primer! This part is obviously focusing on girl groups. Basically, how this is going to work is I’m going to give five songs and an album recommendation from my five favorite groups (plus one extra), then give a song from every other girl group I have in my iTunes. Hopefully, this will help those that are maybe interested in getting into K-Pop, but don’t know how or where to start! Or if you’re already a fan, maybe you’ll find a new group to love :3
Group number one: Girls’ Generation — Girls’ Generation (or as I call them, SNSD) was the first K-Pop group I ever heard and without them, I would have never known anything about this wonderful genre. What I love about SNSD is how versatile they are. If you want a cutesy love song or a fierce, sexy song, you can get both from this group. These girls can rock any crappy concept that SM throws at them. SNSD are probably Korea’s most popular girl group and with good reason. They were also the first Korean musical act to perform on David Letterman and Live! With Kelly. Pretty soon, they might take over the American charts, so you should check them out :3 Also, SNSD is what introduced me to the love of my life, Lee Soonkyu, so I’ll always be thankful for this group’s existence, heh.
Songs to check out: Gee, Genie, you-aholic (actually one of their Japanese songs, but it’s my favorite, so I’m including it anyway), Show! Show! Show!, OSCAR. *Bonus English song* The Boys
Album Recommendation: Girls’ Generation (Their Japanese album, but it’s their best album, imo). Two links, because there’s the regular album, then a repackage with a new song and some nice remixes.
Group number two: Kara — Kara was the second girl group that I listened to and I was enamored by them, from the start. This group is extremely popular in Japan, as well as in Korea. After having their first album flop and having a member quit, Kara added two members and went into a cutesy direction, that I don’t think suited them very well (though I’ll always love Honey, because it was the first song I heard by them). Now I think they make music that suits them. It’s K-Pop, but it’s also different, because Kara puts their own flavor on it. Basically, they’re all wonderful girls and you’d be lucky to stan them~
Songs to check out: Wanna, Lupin, Jumping, Mr. (this is a Japanese MV, but the song I’ve put up for download is the Korean one), Step.
Album recommendation: Revolution
Group number three: Brown Eyed Girls — This was the third girl group that I checked out (oh ho ho, do you see pattern as to how I picked these groups) and I was blown away by how different and mature they were, compared to other groups. In 2009, everyone and their grandmother were having a cute concept, but these girls came with a sexy, electronic single and slayed the charts. Brown Eyed Girls are always at the forefront of the game, doing things that other K-Pop groups are scared to do. Their discography is one of the most varied in existence. They’ve gone from R&B to retro dance to Electronic to whatever you would call Sixth Sense. In my opinion, Brown Eyed Girls are the most underrated group in all of K-Pop and it’s sad, since they’re easily the most talented. Miryo’s rap in Sixth Sense is my favorite rap verse in all of K-Pop and the high notes that are hit near the end of the song give me goosebumps every time. Also, the MV is a great commentary on the state of Pop music and just a lot of things, in general. Brown Eyed Girls have never been afraid to be sexy, they have never been afraid to put their thoughts in their music and they have never been afraid to just be themselves and in this industry? That means a lot. And honestly, they are the only girl group in Korea that deserves the title “Queens”.
Uhh, sorry for all the word vomit, I just have a lot of feelings for these girls, obviously ;___;Songs to check out: Abracadabra, Candy Man, Sixth Sense, Hot Shot, Vendetta. *Bonus* Every member, except for Jea (hers will come this year though!), has had a solo album and they’re all great and should be checked out: Narsha - Bbi-Ri-Bop-A | Ga-In - Irreversible | Miryo - Dirty & I Love You I Love You (ft. Sunny ^o^)
Album recommendation: Sixth Sense. Two links, for the regular album and then the repackaged album, which comes with one new song.
Group number four: f(x) — I actually got to see this group debut and it was a very exciting time for me, since SM was my favorite company (still is). I’m really glad that this group was the first one for me to see debut and I’m glad to have loved them from the beginning~ f(x) is very different from SNSD. They’ve never had a cute concept and stick mostly to Electronic Pop songs. Also, the group has Amber, who is different from any other female idol, but that’s what’s so great about her. Yes, she’s so good that she gets her own mention, okay. I feel like f(x) has lots of potential and I hope that SM brings that out of them, rather than keeping them on the shelf, like they have been.
Songs to check out: LA chA TA, Chu~♡, Nu ABO, Pinocchio (Danger), Hot Summer.
Album recommendation: Pinocchio / Hot Summer (PW is bestfiction).
Group number five: miss A — miss A debuted in 2010 and are quickly becoming one of the more popular girl groups. I actually don’t know much about this group -___-; except that I love all the members and that I enjoy their image, music and music videos probably more than any other group on this list. They’re new and don’t have many songs, therefore are very easy to get into. They stick with more mature themes, except for their song Breathe, but that song’s still not a cutesy concept at all.
Songs to check out: Good Girl Bad Girl, Breathe, Goodbye Baby, Love Alone (this song is in English, but it’s the best, okay, shhh), Step Up.
Recommended album: A Class
*Bonus* Group number six: Wonder Girls — I originally was just going to talk about five groups, but I felt I would doing a great disservice by not talking about this amazing group, so. Wonder Girls was one of the first groups that I heard, by I was not impressed by their retro concept for Nobody, so I just ignored them. I wish I had looked into them more, but alas. So I didn’t get into them, until last year, when Wonder World came out. Wonder World was my second favorite K-Pop album released last year, coming second only to Brown Eyed Girls’ Sixth Sense. This group is the first Korean act to chart on the Hot Billboard 100 chart and they are the first Asian act to be the lead in a TV film.
Songs to check out: Tell Me, Nobody, 2 Different Tears, Be My Baby, Me, In. *Bonus English song* The DJ is Mine.
Album recommendation: Wonder World
Other songs: After School / Orange Caramel - Bang / Bangkok City | Chocolat - Syndrome | Dal★Shabet - Pink Rocket | Girl’s Day - Nothing Last Forever | Nine Muses - News | A Pink - My My | Rainbow / Rainbow Pixie - A / Hoi Hoi | RaNia - Dr. Feel Good | Secret - Madonna | Sistar - So Cool | Spica - Russian Roulette | T-ARA - Lovey-Dovey | 2NE1 - I AM THE BEST | 4Minute / HyunA / Trouble Maker (not a girl group, but I’m putting it here, because the song rocks and I like HyunA a lot) - I Me My Mine / Bubble Pop! / Trouble Maker
Downloads for all the songs above (minus the BEG solo songs): Pt. 1 (everything from SNSD to miss A) & Pt. 2 (Wonder Girls and everything else).
Ahhh, okay, I guess that’s it. I made this for you guys for Valentine’s Day and I hope you appreciate it, because I put a lot of work into it, heh ;___; I love this genre a lot and I especially love girl groups a lot and if I can gain any of them a few fans, I feel like my job is done. I’ll put up the boy group primer later.

# seriously for the people who keep changing your urls... this will be useful for you
A lot of people are asking me how did I make the moved page to my old url: http://thevoicelessfear.tumblr.com
So, I decided to share the css because these questions were kinda bothering me hahaha and because I cannot explain how I made it, I just made. How to use: put the codes in the custom html in the customization page of your old url…ps: you have to change your url first, and then make another blog using your old url.
- The mini text “the tears of a silent fear” is your description.
- To make your page redirect automatically to your new url put this code below after the tags <html> and <head> in the html. (5 is how many seconds it will take until the page will be redirected).<meta http-equiv=”refresh” content=”5; url=http://NEWURLHERE.tumblr.com”>Don’t forget to retype all of the ” ” of the code to redirect.
